The VLatest – Edition 1.1
Starting, well, now, we’re going to post weekly vlogs and blogs of our experience leading up to (hopefully) SXSW and promoting our new release, Johari Window. Here’s the first one. We call it The Vlatest:
Last week we played New York’s one and only CMJ festival. And even though work and rehearsal had us all pretty bogged down, we still managed to take in the experience. Starting on Wednesday evening at Trash Bar in Williamsburg, followed by some panels Thursday AM and some (Show Share) prospecting PM. Happy to have made it out on the lower east side, truly the hub for the festival. Something every local music fan should experience and consider taking in next fall. We met and saw a few great acts from Chicago at Arlene’s Grocery and almost bought a Watch lighter. That’s right – it tells time and it starts fires. Dave, whom some of you might remember from the Boston to Austin footage and books for Ropeadope, was able to come up and join in the shenanigans. Here Here! David thank you for the Chick Pea Pita! I owe you another round. Much love to Amy Nunz for bringing the troops out on Wednesday. You guys held it down like no one could. We owe you a request. J and Tony, Ryan and I appreciate you letting us beat you in pool. To those of you who were not there. You really missed it.
